The story behind Siman Tov Spirit
The Siman Tov family, three generations of whom were murdered in their home in Nir Oz on October 7, 2023. Jonathan (Johnny) 36 years old, Carol (Johnny's mother) 70 years old, his wife Tamar 35 years old, their twin daughters Arbel and Shahar 5.5 years old, and their son Omar (Freddie) 2.5 years old.
We, Koren and Amit Siman Tov, who survived the massacre at Kibbutz Nir Oz, decided that despite our difficulty moving into the stage of commemorating our dear family, to slowly try to find small things that we are able to do.
The goal of the project is to commemorate our family and create a community that is connected to the values of love, togetherness, mutual responsibility, respect, modesty, work ethic, nature, hiking, partnership, giving, memory, and hope.
The brand was born out of a desire to commemorate them and share their love and legacy through simple, unforgettable moments. Through good beer that symbolized good moments together, and quality products with attention to the smallest details.
Johnny never gave up on himself and us for any opportunity to be together, and with his big heart he touched each and every one of us, from young to old.
We are here to raise our voices in their memory.
The beer was made in memory of Johnny, who loved beer and friends very much.
The beer is made from Israeli wheat from the Western Negev, which Johnny grew and cultivated, along with other crops, his entire life.
The tractor (John Deere) - was the tractor associated with Johnny, and from there the name of the capital and the picture of the tractor that Johnny drives.
The five birds - symbolize the five family members who were murdered on October 7, 2023 in their home on Kibbutz Nir Oz.
The two birds symbolize our mother Carol (Mammosh), who was murdered in her home in Nir Oz on October 7, 2023, and our father Freddy Siman Tov, the late, who married in Nir Oz on October 7, 1980 and met again in the next life on October 7, 2023.
The green and brown field and the blue sky are the landscape of our childhood that we miss so much.... In the background you can see the Gaza Strip.
In their memory and for them.
